Lindsay Holzhauer
Lindsay A. Holzhauer is an Associate Attorney at Williams Chartered, P.A., where her practice focuses on construction law and related civil litigation. She first joined the firm in 2024 while attending law school, working as both a 2L and 3L Associate before returning as an attorney. Her experience with the firm during law school allowed her to develop a practical understanding of construction disputes and the legal and business challenges faced by contractors and other participants in the construction industry.
Lindsay's path into the legal profession began well before law school, with administrative legal roles beginning in 2014. Early in her career, she worked as a Mediation Case Manager and Arbitration Specialist, where she developed experience with alternative dispute resolution and an understanding of the practical considerations involved in resolving disputes outside of the courtroom. In 2021, she began working as a litigation paralegal on a construction defect team, assisting with complex construction litigation. That role laid the foundation for her interest in construction law and provided significant hands-on exposure to the issues that arise throughout the litigation process.
While earning her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, Lindsay developed a particular interest in litigation and trial advocacy. Over two years as a competing member of Stetson's nationally ranked Trial Team, she honed her skills in case preparation, courtroom advocacy, and witness examination. She later coached law students in trial advocacy competitions and developed an interactive training resource that was adopted for use within Stetson's advocacy program by competitors, coaches, and faculty.
Outside of her legal practice, Lindsay enjoys serving her community through her church, where she volunteers and teaches Sunday School.
