Michael A. Gomez is an Associate at Williams Chartered, P.A., based out of Orlando, Florida, with a Law Degree from Florida A&M University. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Gomez obtained vast amounts of hands-on construction experience working for contractors throughout the Central Florida area for over six years. With two years of litigation experience in construction litigation and insurance defense, Mr. Gomez has exclusively focused his practice on construction defect and property damage claims. Mr. Gomez represents developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in various trades, and material suppliers in construction disputes involving single-family homes and large complex construction cases throughout the State of Florida. Mr. Gomez’s prior experience in the construction field has facilitated a profound understanding of the construction industry long before being admitted to practice law, having worked on hundreds of properties throughout the years

in the field, which often required balancing the needs of clients, homeowners, general contractors and other sub-contractors. Early exposure to the multitude of various aspects of the construction industry, construction project management, contracts, and dispute resolution have proven to be an invaluable opportunity for Mr. Gomez as he transitioned his career into the construction defect and insurance defense world.
